ABW Leaves of Life Golf team and Camp Aguinaldo again submitted the same score Wednesday to remain tied for the lead after two rounds in Fil A of the seniors side of the 59th Fil-Am golf invitational tournament at Camp John Hay.
Ben Jacinto made 34 points, two over 71 in regulation, to lead ABW to 110 points and a 225 two round tally, which is tied with Aguinaldo for the second day.
Buddy Velayo had 31 points, Albert MG Garcia carded 26 points, while Bo Tuason and Benny Alcantara had 19 each, of which one did not count.
Aguinaldo got 32 from Rey Ochosa, 28 from Ed Gador, 27 from Dante Tejada, and 23 from Art Alabanza to remain tied with ABW as they head to the least two days of competition on Thursday.
Mizuno fired the second best for the day of 108 and 212 total, to overtake Philippine Navy, which got 29 from Ted Runes.
Club Intramuros closes in to the Fil B title after chalking in 84 points and a three round total of 278 for a 25-point lead.
Reynaldo Ulob led Intramuros with 23 points, 22 points from Rupert Bayucot, and 21 and 18 from Paulino Petralba and Pedro Lopez, respectively.
Isabela GC had a 75 and three-day tally of 253, while Fil-Hawaiian carded a 71 and 239 total.
Terry Ueno made 23 points and led Aloha to an 83-point production for 224 points and a 23-point lead in Seniors Am B with a round to go.
Intramuros remained at second spot with 69 and 201 total, four off East Loch, which carded a 78 and 197.
In Am E, Square & Compass pooled 92 points for a 166 two day tally to take a 12-point lead over overnight leader PGMC Nickel.
Point Five Guam Team A is at third with 141 after a 71.
Paga Washington also moved into the lead of Am G after making a 63 for 116 to wrest the lead from overnight co-leaders Shangrila Valley (54=111) and Chamorro GC (51=108).
In Fil F, Noel Maducduc scored 25 points as Square and Compass churned in 88 points for a three-day total 276 and increased its lead over NBI Golf Team 157 to 14 with a round to go.
Lyndio Esteban had 22, while Jesus Diaz and Reynaldo Pine added 21 and 20, respectively, to count for the team.
NBI got 309 from Cesar Valencerina for 82 points and 262 total, 10 shots off Isabela, which made 74 for 252.
Sustagen Premium Executives got 23 from Ed Montenegro as the team tallied 72 points for a three round score of 207 and take a four-point lead in Am F.
Overnight leader Mountaineers got a measly 61 to slip to second place with 203, while first round leader Sitel-LBC got 65 and 195 tally, three off Eva Airways.
