Man threatens to burn up neighborhood
By Catherine Dichos

A MAN was jailed after he threatened to burn the homes of his neighbors in San Juan 2, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City at 7 p.m. last Sunday.

Agora police identified the suspect as 42-year old Rodolfo Sanaga, a resident of the area. A person identified as 42-year old Roberto Abejuela alleged that Sanaga threatened to burn not only his house but also his neighbor's homes.

"Sunugon nako ning tibuok San Juan 2 (I will set the whole of San Juan 2 on fire)" Abejuela quoted Sanaga as allegedly telling him.

Abejuela who filed a complaint against the suspect said the suspect is believed to be insane in order to hide his case.

He said this is not only the time he threatened to burn the whole San Juan 2 area.

Sanaga's case is now referred to the Barangay Lupon of Lapasan while he is temporarily detained at the Agora precinct mini-cell.
