Sun Cellular launches Sun Stroke promo bid
By Rubelyn Yap

TELECOMMUNICATIONS firm Sun Cellular launched its Sun Stroke promotional program for the public in simple rites held at the fourth floor of the Gaisano Mall last Friday.

Sun Cellular Marketing Coordinator Leo Sanchez said their promotional offering will run through until Aug. 3.

The John Gokongwei-owned firm said the Sun Stroke promo offers people huge discounts for any purchased phone kits.

The perks include a free P150 reload and a 70 percent discount on the handsets of cellular phone brands like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Panasonic, LG Collins and Siemens.

The buyers can also avail of zero interest on deferred credit card purchases, free Nokia phone kits with selected plan subscriptions, a gift for every handset purchase and no registration fees on all plans.

Sun Cellular was launched last May and is now present throughout major cities in the country. Sanchez said their subscribers don't have to worry about coverage since they are fast and aggressive.

"Sun Cellular will really grow faster than any other telecommunication firm. We are able to do things fast and our subscribers will enjoy all these affordable offers of ours," he said.

He said behind Sun Cellular are the many diligent, hardworking people determined to make the company better than any other group.

Sun Cellular is a member of the Gokongwei group of companies with Universal Robina Corp., Robinsons Land, Cebu Pacific and Digitel (Sun Cellular).

Sanchez said they have a commitment to offer residents of Cagayan de Oro quality telecommunications service. He said they are extending their coverage to go beyond Northern Mindanao.

"We feel that it will become a highly progressive industrial city and we want to be part of that development," he said.
