Oro chamber golf tourney in October By Lynde Salgados
BUSINESSMEN from the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) will join their Mindanao and Philippine counterparts in the first ever Oro Chamber Open Golf Tournament here on Oct. 28-29 at Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club.
The two-day event is open to all male and female amateur golfers 18 years old and above.
The Oro Chamber Open will be held in conjunction with the 12th Mindanao Business Conference set Oct. 29-31 at the Pryce Plaza Hotel and the Phividec Industrial Estate.
For a registration fee of only P1,500, players are entitled to two days of competition round. Fee also includes dinner during the awards night at Pryce Plaza, entry in the raffle draw and a give-away golf umbrella.
Hole-in-one prizes include a Mitsubishi Lancer GLX Sedan, a house and lot package at the Pueblo de Oro (San Agustin Valley Homes 2) and a 29" color television set.
Total raffle prizes worth P200,000 will be drawn during the awards night at Pryce Plaza.
The 1st Oro Chamber Open Golf tourney will be conducted in accordance with the USGA Rules of Golf.
