Rape suspect submits self for examination

I WANT experts to examine my "stuff."
A Batang Mindanao 29 member accused of rape by the daughter of a former government official made this contention after the victim had positively identified him as the culprit Wednesday.
The 19-year-old suspect named Ruis Ganohon of Upper Balulang, the victim, an FM disc jockey intern, as the one who mauled and then raped her last December 1, charged this city.
The 29-year-old victim said she is very confident that Ganohon was the same person who wore a mask and sexually abused her.
Aside from a rape case, the suspect was also charged with illegal possession of shabu and concealing deadly weapon.
Responding policemen found the illegal drug in Ganohon's possession during the arrest and the latter vehemently denied owning it, saying the authorities planted it.
Ganohon was arrested inside his residence after a concerned citizen called up the police in Carmen concerning his whereabouts.
During an investigation at Carmen Police Precinct, police found scratches on the suspect's body and a bitten right index finger.
But in an interview with the suspect, he explained to Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro that the scratches were inflicted by his wife during their quarrel.
When asked about the cut on his finger he said it was bitten by a witch, which drew laughter from everyone who witnessed the proceedings.
"Para gyud mahibaw-an ang tinood maayo unta eksaminon ang akong sperm ug ikomparar dayon sa nakuha gikan sa babaye para makita gyud ang katag kung ako ba gyud ang nang rape sa iya (So they can know the truth it's good if my sperm were to be examined and compared to that taken from the woman so they can see who raped her)," Ganohon said.
And in her sworn affidavit, the victim explained that the incident started when she was about to get the broom, which was placed at the back of a dilapidated vehicle.
She said the area was poorly lighted and added that a masked man with a black shirt suddenly appeared and grabbed her.
"Midagan ko apan nasakpan gihapon ko niya, iya dayon kong gituok ug gipugos pagpahigda. Sa among paglayog nahulog iyang kutsilyo mao tong ako siyang gidunggab apan wala maigo iyang lawas (I ran but he caught me and then he forced me to lie down. During the course of our struggle his knife fell that's why I tried to stab him but he didn't get hurt)," the victim said.
She said during the struggle she managed to bite the finger of her attacker and scratched him several times. She also removed the mask which gave her the chance to see the suspect's face.
The suspect then started molesting her when she was already weak and half conscious. She said she only sought for help from her neighbors after regaining consciousness.
At the police station, the victim positively identified Ganohon and slapped the latter several times.
