CDO Stars v. Valencia in pre-season NBC match
PRE-season matches for the NBC Season 2 are starting to heat up with the clash between the CDO Stars and Valencia Golden Harvest on April 24 (6 pm) at the Valencia City gymnasium in Bukidnon.
The Valencia Golden Harvest of Mayor Jose M. Galario Jr. will be sending out their big guns such as the sleek-slashing Jester Adams, three-point specialist Ike Royo, court general Dino Cabili, mobile center Jeofre Balague and Cebu-groomed players Rene Toring and point guard Joselito Celis.
Serving as team consultant is Valencia City sports coordinator Rico D. Ocho.
Leading the charge for the CDO Stars are bull-strong forward Jerome Numeran, NBC 2004 `Find of the Year' Julius Navales, NBC All-Star members Jayson Alfeche, ex-PBA player Dong Polistico and CDO Nuggets/Amigos alumni Nick Jabagat and Jaime Rivera.
Former PBA standout Arlene Rodriguez will debut as CDO's head coach.
The CDO Stars is backed up by Monsanto Philippines Incorporated, A1 Sports Tailoring, Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) Regional Director Karl "Titot" Fortich, Mayor Rocky Calingin, Roldan Lagbas, WILD FM, DxCC-RMN, Agfa Colorhouse Laboratores, Gold Star Daily, Perfect Line gym, Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro, Yem Yem Hi-way Lechon Manok and Andy Calingin Productions.
