Woman claims former PB dad 'kidnap brains'
* However Musni says woman must file charges against him
* Woman also claims Indian national behind kidnapping
A FORMER Provincial Board (PB) member and prominent lawyer is being accused of masterminding the kidnap of a woman, supposedly to keep her away from her fiance.
Maria (identity withheld) accused lawyer Oscar Musni, former PB member and known human rights advocate, of orchestrating her kidnapping last year.
In an interview over dxIF Bombo Radyo, the woman also named Balber Singh alias Bobby Singhher, an Indian national and former employer, of financing the kidnap.
The woman recalled she was kidnapped along Tiano-Makahambus streets this city on May 7 last year.
The kidnapping, which took place at 8 p.m., was allegedly designed to snatch her away from her fiancé and bring her back against her own will to Manila where Singh operates a recruitment agency. She worked there as operations manager, she said.
During the night of the kidnapping the woman said she saw Danny Bolosan, lawyer Musni's driver and two other unidentified men.
Maria said she was with her fiancé during that evening when a van bearing plate number KUV-519 blocked their way and forced her inside the car. She claimed seeing her mother and two brothers inside the van.
Maria said she later learned her mother and two brothers colluded with Singh to kidnap her. Her family, she said, was against her fiancé'.
She was then brought to her uncle's house in Davao and from there, she said she was taken by Singh and brought to Manila.
Financed
In Manila, Maria said she was repeatedly abused by the Indian national. Her brother, Allan, discovered the abuses and helped her out of Singh's custody.
Meanwhile, Maria's brother Allan now stands as witness against Singh, Musni, Bolosan and two other suspects.
In the same radio interview, Allan recounted he took part in the original plan to kidnap her sister. He said he believed that the intention of her sister's kidnapping was to keep her away from her fiancé, who is reportedly married.
When the victim was forced inside the car, Allan said he was with Singh in a taxi, looking at a distance while the kidnapping was on progress.
It was learned, Allan said, that Singh financed everything to make the abduction possible.
Upon reaching Davao, Maria was allegedly forced to take a drug test and Singh supposedly managed to manipulate the results to make it appear that the victim's fiancé caused her addiction.
Allan claimed a meeting took place with a certain Attorney Jaos, who was tasked by Musni to get the money from Singh, supposedly as payment for helping the Indian national in Maria's abduction.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Musni, husband of human rights activist and lawyer Beverly Musni, vehemently denied involvement in the kidnapping.
The accusation, Musni said, is a mockery to his person.
According to Musni, Maria's mother and siblings approached her and asked his advice. He did not elaborate. Musni refused to talk in details on the charge, saying that he will just face his accuser in court.
"Mag-file na lang siya og kaso sa korte ug dili dire sa kahanginan hisgutan kay kong dili niya ipasaka ako ang mopasaka og kaso...lingawon ko siya sa korte kong wala siyay lingaw (She has to file a case in court and avoid using the airwaves to discuss her accusation because if she doesn't file the case...I will entertain her in court if she can't find entertainment herself)," Musni said.
