Transport group okay with fare rate delay

ONE of the largest transportation groups welcomed the order to stay the additional P1.00 minimum fare rate hike until next month as recently issued by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

In an interview with Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro, Transportation Federation of Cagayan de Oro (Trafeco) chairman Virgilio Valmoria said they welcome the move as the recent fare rates approved by LTFRB Secretary Elena Bautista was "unfair and without basis."
