Emano has papers on execs: Ocon
By Danilo V. Adorador III

BROADCASTER and opposition councilor Zaldy Ocon said he is in possession of the purported Commission on Audit (COA) documents where the names of the six barangay officials involved in various anomalies are listed.

"Nia nako ang dokumento (I have the document)," Councilor Ocon told Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro Friday.

The councilor, in his latest tirades against the unnamed barangay officials, said he will not make the documents public saying the time is not yet "appropriate."

"Moabot ra na nga panahon (That time will come)," Ocon added.

Ocon also alleged that Mayor Vicente Emano is in possession of the same documents he is holding and the mayor is withholding the information.

"Naa sa iya ang listahan, iya lang gi-pugngan (He has the list, he is just withholding it)," Ocon alleged.

The opposition councilor also said the COA's local office holds the document.
Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro tried to request similar documents from COA's city auditing team head Atty. Palco Seriña.

Seriña, however, declined to confirm or deny the existence of the documents, citing departmental regulations that prohibit his office from divulging information without the consent of their head office.

"Make a written request and maybe we can entertain your query," he told Sun.Star.

But Mayor Emano has repeatedly dismissed Ocon's allegations, saying the identities of the six barangay chairmen whom he supposedly protect might just be a figment of the latter's imagination.

In his radio program, Ocon alleged that some of these barangay officials are either involved in "ghost delivery" or "ghost projects."

These barangay officials are also into project conversions, supposedly to extract money.

Two of these barangay officials are women, the broadcaster said.
