CDO vs Manila tonight

CDO Stars hopes to avenge its woeful road games when it faces the Manila Bacchus Centre here tonight (6 p.m.) at the Corpus Christi gym.

The wards of youthful coach Andy Calingin will also be hosting Sunday the neighboring Ozamis squad of mayor Reynaldo Parojinog at same venue.

The Manilans are coming from a 68-77 loss to Mantawi Sparkling Knights, though they took pride of beating earlier the Tribu Sugbu considered as this year's strong contender for the NBC title.

Meanwhile, the Forward Taguig banked on the hot-shooting night of Jay Lapinid as they secured the top spot in the northern conference's play-offs after nipping the Chia's Fastfood/Viacom Cable-backed Baguio Lions, 81-79, Thursday in the 2005 Panasonic-NBC national championship at the University of Baguio gym.
