Street Motion! A dance competition at SM

SM CITY Cagayan de Oro has come up with an exciting event for students that will showcase their dancing talents.

A Street Motion Dance competition is open to all students in Region 10-Northern Mindanao. To obtain application forms, the contestants must submit the following requirements: single or accumulated purchase receipt/s of P800.00 from any of the SM City Cagayan de Oro tenants (both original and photocopy), photocopy of school ID card of each member of the dance group and one (1) group picture.

Each group must have a minimum of six (6) and a maximum of ten (10) members, and must have a distinctive costume, outfit or theme. Submit these requirements to the Marketing Division, SM City Cagayan de Oro Administration Office, 2nd floor near Cinema 1 & 2.

During the first screening, four groups who will qualify for the competition will win P1,000 each and another four groups will win P1,000 each at the second screening. A grand prize of P10,000 in cash plus the honor of winning a trophy awaits the champion. First prize winners get P8,000 and a trophy, 2nd Prize winners a P5,000 and a trophy too. Consolation prizes of P2,000 each for the remaining two groups will be given away.

Screening dates is scheduled on Sept. 28, at 3 PM for the 1st screening and Oct. 5, at 3 PM for the 2nd screening. First elimination date is scheduled on Oct. 12, 3 PM and Oct. 19at 3PM for the 2nd elimination. Grand Finals will be on Oct. 26, at 3 PM. These activities will be held at the SM City Cagayan de Oro Atrium. (PR)
