TWO high-ranking police officers were gunned down while another was rushed to a hospital during a confrontation that resulted in a fatal shootout at the Lumbia Domestic Airport Compound this city around 9:30 a.m. Friday, authorities said.
PNP Aviation Group chief Loreno Javier Vicente and Chief Inspector Ali Hadji Ali were shot dead while Police Officer 1 Zenon Madrial, the suspected gunman, was rushed to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NWWC) for treatment.
