The Sound of Music in Liceo de Cagayan
THE Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Inc. Misamis Oriental-Cagayan de Oro Chapter and Liceo de Cagayan University in cooperation with Holcim and Boysen present the Rodgers and Hammestein's Broadway Classic, "The Sound of Music," playing March 24 and 25, 2006 Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m.
Staged at the Rodelsa Hall, Liceo de Cagayan University, Kauswagan Road, Cagayan de Oro City and directed by one of the world's finest, Guam-based artist-director, Benjie Y. diola.
"The Sound of Music" is a story about coming of age and learning to understand one's own heart One of World's most produced and beloved musical records the journey of a cheerful young novice who is send off from the convent to become a governess for the seven unruly children of a strict, widowed Austrian naval captain.
Reminished the sounds of the famous lovely songs that includes "The Sound of Music," Maria," " Do-Re-Mi," Climb Every Mountain," "Edelweiss," My Favorite things," and "Sixteen Going on Seventeen."
