A picnic birthday party By Nena Hernandez RSVP
THE cute and good looking first born son of Ader and Marienet Pedrajas turned 8 years old recently. And what was supposedly an all children's picnic party became a mixed party with grown-ups, not mentioning the young parents of the celebrant's playmates. Diego is the one and only grandson of our good friend ELY and when we learned of the picnic for the apple of her eye, DIEGO, we wouldn't hear of us, her friends, not joining in the birthday picnic celebration.
Done at the Lola ELY's house, the group trooped to join and enjoyed the yummy lunch, the cool breeze there, jokes that we all shared.
The friends of Ader and Marienets were: Mark and Jennie Evangelista, Armand and Maimai Ballesteros, Anton Empamano, John Paul, Keisy and Gab.
The two grandmas, Ely and Marietta, were proud watching their grandson, Diego, enjoying his toys with his playmates.
Retirement dinner
Recently, Tellie Gabor Velez retired from her position of the Divine Shepherd Memorial Homes and Park. A despidida dinner was given by the Executive Group to mark her retirement and Rudolf Pelaez Golez, director and chairman of the Board, was present to give her an award for her services.
