MISAMIS Oriental Governor Oscar Moreno said he has no plans of declaring the towns affected by the huge monsoon waves and strong winds as under state of calamity or releasing the calamity funds from the Provincial Capitol fearing more disaster would come before this year ends.

Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council (PDCC) executive officer Teodoro Sabuga-a reported Sunday that the number of families affected by the huge monsoon waves since last week soared from 928 to 1,942 or some 8,481 individuals.
