ADMINISTRATION senatorial candidates under TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) Unity will be arriving here Thursday for a four-day campaign sortie around Northern Mindanao and Lanao areas.

"This has so far been confirmed to us, and all preparations are now in place," administration political party Lakas-CMD-Misamis Oriental chairman Governor Oscar Moreno announced Wednesday.

Moreno's provincial press office head Maricel Casiño-Rivera said they have received communications that five Team Unity senators would be arriving Thursday.

This includes Governor Luis Singson of Ilocos Sur, former senators Vicente Sotto III and Tessie Aquino-Oreta as well as re-electionist Senators Ralph Recto and Joker Arroyo.

"But more Team Unity senatorial candidates may still arrive Friday," she said.

The other senatorial candidates under Team Unity are Vic Magsaysay of Zambales, Representatives Prospero Pichay of Surigao del Sur and Miguel Zubiri of Bukidnon, former presidential chief of staff Michael Defensor, actor Cesar Montano and re-electionist Senator Edgardo Angara.

Rivera said Recto, Oreta, Sotto, Arroyo, and Singson will be conducting a press conference with Governor Moreno as soon as they arrive Thursday.

She said these senatorial bets will then go their own way in conducting their proclamation rallies in the eastern part of Misamis Oriental. This particularly the municipalities of Jasaan, Salay, Tagoloan, Claveria, and Balinguan.

"Our League of Municipal Mayors for Misamis Oriental and Tagoloan Mayor Bambi Emano among other local administration allies will be accompanying Governor Moreno in welcoming these senators," she said.

Bambi is the son of opposition PaDayon Pilipino titular head and Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Vicente Emano. He has declared his intentions to run as congressman for the Second District of Misamis Oriental.

By Friday, Rivera said, these senators will be going to Balingasag, Magsaysay, Medina, Talisayan and Gingoog City.

She said a press conference will be held in Magsaysay with Moreno's mayoral candidate in Magsaysay Jamjam Jamolin and then a separate gathering in Gingoog City at around 3:30 p.m. with senators Sotto and Oreta.

Rivera said these senators will then travel to Iligan City and some areas in Lanao including Tubod, Kolambogan, Bacolod, and Linamon.

On their fourth day, she said these senatorial bets will visit the western part of Misamis Oriental including the municipalities of Manticao, Initao, Laguindingan, El Salvador, and Opol.
