TEN lovely ladies, out of over thirty hopefuls, have emerged as candidates to the Miss Teen Philippines International 2007 Pre-qualification Pageant after a rigid screening held last March 21 at The Dynasty Court Hotel and Restaurant.
They are: Maxine Ysabel Monasterio, Diva Catherine Opina, Diane Fe Mantalaba, Vence Mae Bacus, Danikka Rose Fabela, Margie Marie Manlunas, Maria Lourdes Marquez, Chiery Charmaine Ladera, Vanessa Grace Velez and Emily Frances Rafols.
These intelligent and charming young teenager competed before a panel of distinguished judges during the pageant in SM City Cagayan de Oro on April 14, 2007, when three finalists will be selected.
These three pre-qualifiers will be flown to Manila where they will join 36 other young ladies to participate in a week long series of activities culminating in a grand pageant in May, which will be telecast nationwide over Studio 23.
The Oro Fashion Designers Guild (OFDG) together with top Hairstylist and Make-up Artist then staged a Fashion and Hair Show at the R. Magsaysay Park at exactly 7:00 pm.

Foundation"), has been looking for a confident, intelligent and talented young woman who will become the voice and icon of the youth.
The region has proudly produced the first ever Miss Teen Philippines (2004), Miss Stephanie Mae P. Sol, Miss Teen Philippines Mindanao (2005) - Miss Princess Stephanie V. Lalwani and Miss Dominique Manuta who made it to the top ten during last year's pageant.
