Wednesday, July 04, 2007 1st KBP sportsfest set to open Friday
ITS all systems go for the first ever "KBP Sports Fest" here on July 6 and 7.
A short opening ceremony will mark the start of the two-day event at Sports Zone at 1 p.m. followed by games for badminton (singles/doubles for men and women), 9 balls (singles/doubles), table tennis (singles/doubles for men and women) and dart (singles).
Meanwhile, basketball action (Inter-color) will start at 7 p.m. at Macasandig gym with four teams composed of players from the different radio stations and television networks in the city out to trade leather barbs.
This event will be participated in by radio and television personalities and employees of KBP member stations in Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental
The KBP sportsfest, which is open to all KBP member stations in Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental, is being supported by Coca Cola Bottlers Phils, Shanne Herbal Products, Dunkin Donuts and village Chairman Aaron Neri of Macasandig.
