Thursday, August 16, 2007 2nd Lastimoso Cup Golf tournament set at Pueblo de Oro
THE Lastimoso Cup, an annual tournament hosted by former chief and now general manager of MRT 3 and assistant secretary of the DOTC, General Roberto T. Lastimoso, will be held for the second time on August 16-18 at Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club.
Over 200 golfers from all over the country are expected to attend this event.
Notable players include representatives from the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC), MRT 3, Philippine National Police, MRT Consortium, Pueblo de Oro Golf Club, Iloilo Country Club, and Wack Wack Golf and Country Club, among others.
The tournament will be a two-day event based on the Modified Stableford Computation (75% of HDCP). Winners of the Lowest Gross and Lowest Net, Champions, and 1st runners up of Classes A,B,C,&D will be awarded trophies and prizes in kind.
Raffle prizes at stake are worth P200,000. Prizes at stake for the hole in ones are a brand new Foton Blizzard 4x4 pick up from United Asia Automotive Group, P200,000 cash, P50,000 cash from Peter Unabia, and 32-inch TCL Flat screen TVs from RA Uy Appliance Center.
Registration fee is P1,500 and this includes green fees, an awarding ceremony dinner ticket, a raffle ticket, and a golf umbrella (give away).
