THE local opposition's moves to have the controversial P50 million Barangay Telephone System Project investigated by the City Council's blue ribbon committee was snipped right in the bud Tuesday.
The whole ordeal of trying to get it approved at the City Council's regular session even resulted in a verbal tussle between opposition Councilor Zaldy Ocon and majority floor leader Councilor Ramon Tabor.
