Abucejo garnered 14 votes, followed by Dandan Guevarra, Bado Legazpi and Jojo Udasco with 13 each. The rest of the magic seven were Chico Maravilla (11), Ferdie Roa (11) and Anton Pabillore (9).
Although he still has the majority's respect, Abucejo showed no intention to chair anew the most popular ballclub in the city, embracing the Palaro Center as its homecourt for over a decade now.
"We have to give others a chance to take the lead. Its just that monopoly is not my order of leadership," said Abucejo who steered Ballpals in winning the inaugural championship of the now unheard Southland cagefest at Liceo de Cagayan University gym. (LLS )
