Nestle launches menu planner

AS A way of helping homemakers cope with the demand of time in preparing simple yet healthy menus for their family, Nestle Consumer Services recently launch Daily Delights, Menu Planning and Easy Cooking with Nestle.

The publication goes merely offering a compilation of recipes. It is a handy tabletop planner offering a comprehensive collection of suggested menus and recipes.

Post here your Valentine's Day greetings

As homemakers are always hounded with what to prepare for their family, added the hi-rocketing prices of basic commodities needed for the menu planning and preparation, the menu planner features weekly menu plans with recipes that are good for a four-week period. There are also summaries of menus for each week that conveniently display the lineup of recipes.

Each menu for every day during the four weeks is designed with variety and balance in mind, two concepts that are important to good nutrition, health and wellness.

The planner also has practical reminders about buying seafood, meat, vegetables, fruits and other ingredients, plus it also features "good to know" and "good to remember" tips that share nutrition knowledge for better food choices and meals.

Daily delights have a total of 52 recipes that are simple and easy to prepare, light on budget and good for health. I also have a dish, dessert or drink to suit and satisfy all family members. The recipe can be made part of a daily meal, while some are also good for special occasions.

All the recipes have been developed and tested by Nestle's resident chefs from Julius Maggi Kitchen in Rockwell Center in Makati. (ACM)
