THE Alumni Association of the Asian Institute of Management (Aaaim) Cagayan de Oro chapter will be spearheading the 3rd Leadership Forum with the theme, "Strengthening Competitiveness" on May 9 at Pryce Plaza Hotel.
The forum will be made possible in cooperation with the AIM Alumni Relations, AIM Policy Center, Xavier University, Philippine Marketing Association, the local government unit (LGU) of Cagayan de Oro City, and Southland Events Inc.
The leadership forum will be participated in by public and private institutions from Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental composed of the LGUs and different government agencies, specifically defense, economy, education, energy, environment, foreign affairs, health, housing, justice, labor, public safety, science and technology, transportation, travel and tourism and the sectors of trade, commerce, manufacturing, services, business support organizations, agriculture, fishery and mining.
The contents of the leadership forum entail three major issues, 1) 2008 city competitiveness report by AIM Policy Center; 2) Initiate Strategic Marketing Options for LGU by Xavier University and the City Mayor's Office; 3) Brand Story of Cagayan de Oro with launching of CdeO TV Commercial Ad by Liceo de Cagayan University and Philippine Marketing Association.
The forum will be an opportunity for Cagayan de Oro and neighboring cities and municipalities, to anchor its competitiveness focusing mainly on bringing in investors to their cities and creating city brand.
Registration fee for the forum is P1,250 per participant inclusive of snacks, lunch and other forum materials.
