Saturday, April 19, 2008 Donate-a-book at SM City Cagayan de Oro
FOR the past years, SM Foundation Incorporation, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), has collected books from generous tenants, shoppers, schools and publishing companies through the Donate-A-Book campaign. These books were distributed to more than 10,000 public schools and DSWD day care centers nationwide.
Donate-A-Book, now on its 11th year, wishes to invite you once again to donate serviceable books, magazines and other reading and school materials to help augment public schools and reading center's existing paraphernalias. Your cash donations will go to the different day care centers to help them upgrade their facilities and improve their educational materials.
Donate-A-Book booth is located between De Oro Therapeutic and Dunkin Donuts at the Entrance 3 Gallery, Ground Floor, SM City Cagayan de Oro. This project will run from April 1 to 30.
