The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) Station 3 in Agora identified the suspect as Dr. Albert Magao, who allegedly took the car of the victim, Angeline Baroga, of Barangay Buru-un, Iligan City and drove it here.

Baroga narrated that she was supposed to wait for her Toyota RAV4 in her workplace in Iligan City last May 1 but her driver never showed up.

She later learned from some acquaintances that the family driver was in cahoots with Magao who reportedly took the vehicle in Cagayan de Oro City.

But when Baroga texted Magao, she received a message purportedly coming from Magao's mobile phone number demanding cash in return of her car.

Probers are still investigating the matter.
