SEVENTEEN-year-old Lovely Jane Estampa is more than your average beauty contestant.
She's the chapter head of the youth unit of the Catholic Women's League (CWL) at the St. Joseph chaplaincy in Patag where she is currently the reigning beauty queen in that barangay.
Lovely Jane is perhaps the most religious Miss Kagay-an 2008 candidate of them all.
During the Miss Kagay-an 2008 go-see, the still baby-faced Lovely Jane possesses that very innocent answer, "I don't want to commit myself into a romantic relationship yet because I easily fall in love and I may get tempted to go with the wrong guy."
Lovely Jane would rather concentrate on her studies as a freshman student at Mindanao Polytechnic State College (MPSC), taking up BS Technology Communication Management.
As a Roman Catholic, Lovely Jane is without doubts opposed to the controversial Reproductive Health Bill so don't expect her to endorse Trust condoms anytime soon.
It doesn't mean though that Lovely Jane is not open to endorse any commercial product.
In fact, she was named Sun Cellular Babe in a competition last year.
