Girlie is Candidate No. 9 in this year's creme-dela-creme of beauties known as Miss Kagay-an 2008, coronation night of which will be held on August 26 at the plush Limketkai Atrium.

Jaja was Miss Cagayan de Oro 2005 and Wendie was Miss Cagayan de Oro 2006 second runner-up while Sorene was a known local television variety show host before she shifted to another career.
Being a Limketkai customer service representative is just a stepping-stone to success. Wendie is now a stewardess with Air Philippines while Sorene is now a sales supervisor with Unilever Philippines, overseeing accounts nationwide.
Joining Miss Kagay-an 2008 may be trivial but Girlie does possess that beautiful neat face. In fact, she's just probably waiting to be discovered as a billboard portrait model.
Girlie banks not just on her face but on her height to catapult her to fame, she being 5'6."
She was Miss COBSAT in 2004 in the college where she graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
She says she wants to continue existing eco-tourism projects if she's crowned as Miss Kagay-an 2008.
