EMPLOYEES of the assessor's, budget and accounting department of Misamis Oriental's Provincial Government won first place in modern dancing during the province's Christmas party Friday.
The "red team" bested five other teams that gyrated on stage at the Capitol grounds Friday night.
Over 3,000 employees took part in the revelry, which ended with a stunning 20-minute fireworks display.
The blue team composed of employees from the Governor's Office won second place and the Provincial Board placed third.
Consolation prizes were given to Misortel employees (lavender team), Provincial Office employees (golden yellow team) and employees of the Provincial Health and Agriculture offices, which placed 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.
The provincial band belted out mostly 80's dance tunes to which Governor Oscar Moreno gamely danced with other provincial employees.
