Marriott Hotel unveils Yuletide offerings
Cebu City Marriott Hotel (CCMH) has unveiled its line of activities and celebrations this Yuletide season.
The Music of the Peace Philharmonic Philippines Chamber Players is scheduled on Dec. 22 and 29 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The group is composed of the most advanced string players of the PPP under the musical direction of Prof. Jeffrey Solares. These young musicians are winners in the recent National Music Competition for Young Artists.
The hotel’s Santa’s Red Cookie Goodie Corner will be available until Jan. 3, 2003. Sweet gift ideas are available at the Garden Café with selections such as a box or bag of cookies, assorted cookies by piece and Christmas cake.
There is also the Pick-Your-Gift on Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas. Diners at the Garden Café on weekends before Christmas Day get a chance to pick a gift from the Yuletide tree. They need only to present a minimum food and beverage order of P2,000.
Individuals who want to take out turkeys may do so until Jan. 1, 2003.
An order of roasted turkey comes with sauce and stuffing at the Garden Café. Available at a minimum price of P3,000 per piece, orders must be made two days in advance.
A Visit with Santa is set on Dec. 15 and 22 at 12 to 2 p.m. An extra treat awaits children when taking the Sunday Brunch Buffet at the Garden Café. One may listen to one of Santa’s Christmas stories, have a photo with Santa or wait for some sweet treats from his bag.
It’s Christmas Afternoon Break until Dec. 30 from 2 to 8 p.m. When at the Palm Lounge, one may savor the season with a sip of gourmet coffee or a variety of tea blends. To go with the coffee is an array of sweet bars, cookies and fruit cakes.
A midnight mass is also slated on Dec. 24, 9 p.m. at the hotel ballroom.
CCMH’s Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet is available on Dec. 24, 6 to 10 p.m. at the Garden Café. The chef has prepared a dinner spread of items like roast striploin, roast turkey with traditional bread and apple stuffing, herb crusted chicken breast, among others. Dinner buffet is at P550+ per person.
The Christmas Brunch Buffet and Dinner Buffet will be offered on Dec. 25 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m., respectively at the Garden Café.
Some inclusions in the brunch menu are lechon de Cebu, roasted top irloin, Christmas ham, fresh salads and desserts. Dinner buffet is at P550+ per person.
On Dec. 31 at 6 to 10 p.m., one may avail himself of the New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet at the Garden Café. The coffeeshop dresses up for the big night with a grand feast at P550+ per person.
The NYC Room Night Highlight is slated on Dec. 31. The New Year Countdown (NYC) Room Night Highlight is an offer of P2,003 for an overnight stay in a single or double deluxe room accommodations inclusive of breakfast buffet at the Garden Café.
