Sinulog ‘03 champions
1 Tangub Vice Mayor Edemar Alota hoists the Sinulog trophy earned by his city for winning the best Sinulog-based contingent.
2 Sinulog-based grand prize winner Tribu Sinanduloy of Tangub City brings back scenes of Old Cebu in their dance and props. The contingent was also adjudged best in costume and first in street dancing. They returned home with a total cash prize of P450,000.
3 Daanbantayan Mayor Luisa Loot and husband Vicente Loot (encircled) bask in the glory of their town, Daanbantayan, for having won the top plum in the free interpretation category. They brought back P350,000 to their town, located 120 kilometers north of Cebu.
4 Tribu Cogon, composed of pupils of Pardo Elementary School, steals the hearts of many with their afros and guitar rocking. The contingent placed second in the free interpretation category and won P150,000.
5 A countryside theme for the contingent of Cebu City Central School brings them the second prize in the Sinulog-based category. It also was second best in street dancing and got a total cash prize of P200,000.
