Espina: CAP-GEN wins sales rally top awards By Mila C. Espina CLUBWATCH
For the first time in a long time, CAP-GEN won the first prize in the dance competition held during the annual Christmas sales rally. The popular choice of the audience, the group led by regional head Sonny Espina regaled the viewers with fabulous costumes, lively Asereje and samba dance steps, colorful props and a meaningful message, “CAP is Family!”
College Assurance Plan president Enrique Sobrepeña and first executive VP-CAP Jose S. Montuya (concurrently chief marketing officer) thanked CAP Cebu for coming up with a wholesome show. The senior executive of CAP Education, Chris Bendejo, joined the CAP family in promoting teamwork in the spirit of Christmas.
Model teacher 2003
The Victor Uy Foundation is now receiving nominations for the 2003 Model Teacher, which is open to public elementary and high school teachers in Cebu and Mandaue cities, and Opon, Lapu-Lapu city. Deadline for submission of documents is on Jan. 25, after which an initial screening is slated on the last week of January. Interviews will be during the first week of February. Awarding will be on Feb. 24.
Nomination forms are available at the University of San Jose-Recoletos College of Arts and Sciences (Matt Llanete), Speechcom (Dr. Mila C. Espina) and from Olivia Uy.
