DAVAO—At least 19 people, including an American national, were killed and about 140 others injured in bomb attacks outside the Davao International Airport and at a health office in a nearby city.
The first blast struck a shed outside the Davao airport terminal, amid the backdrop of increased Muslim guerrilla activity in the region ahead of a planned deployment of US anti-terror troops.
