LG Flatron monitors eliminate eyestrain for PC users
LG ELECTRONICS is presenting a flat-screen monitor that will enable computer users to face their personal computers constantly and not experience eyestrain.
“Eyestrain is a condition computer users everywhere will have encountered due to the constant use of their PCs, a condition brought about by computer monitor glare. Now LG is ready to address this concern,” according to a statement from Lenton Marketing Inc.
LG Flatron is a 100-percent flat-screen monitor that “soothes the eyes with bright, vivid colors bringing everything into focus,” the statement said.
Unlike conventional flat screens, LG Flatron has three surfaces that are 100 percent flat. With flat surfaces inside and out, Flatron can deliver flat images without the distortion.
And with the W-ARAS coating and inner anti-glare treatment, light reflection and transmission rate is the lowest in the industry. Therefore, eye fatigue can be dramatically reduced, the statement said.
The flat screen is also equipped with an enhanced refresh rate of 1600x1200@75Hz displaying no flicker.
The LG Flatron monitor gives sharp and high resolution at Ultra XGA (1600x1200). Colors on conventional monitors may not be true to the image due to the doming. But with the Flatron, enhanced color purity is brought through Tensioned Mast and Near Contact Exposure technology.
With the LG Flatron, objects that are already visible come into a wider view. The viewable area is maximized. Connectivity is also not a problem as the LG Flatron monitor is equipped with a USB port.
LG monitors are a product of LG Collins Electronics Manila. Lenton Marketing and CBX Corp. will launch LG’s IT products at Cebu City Marriott Hotel on Friday.
