DISPLACED Sto. Niño vendors have taken their fight against Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña to the political arena by asking former mayor Alvin Garcia for help yesterday. Members of the Sto. Niño Sidewalk Vendors’ Association (SNSVA) will also meet with Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal at the Archbishop’s Palace at 10 a.m. today to ask the prelate to mediate in the conflict and persuade the mayor to allow them to sell in the area again.
