Bosch uses Teccom, offers spark plugs

The division automotive aftermarket of the Robert Bosch GmbH has announced that it and its customers make an increased use of Teccom, the e-commerce system offered by 23 biggest manufacturers of automotive parts.

Bosch said after only two years and six months of operations, more than 1,000 wholesalers in 17 countries have access to the respective parts management systems of Bosch through this industry-based solution.

It added that several transactions are completed everyday to provide customers within seconds with information on availability and delivery dates as well as product information.

Teccom is also a success outside Europe, Bosch said. Together with other parts manufacturers, Bosch and Teccom are getting the industry-based solution ready for deployment in Asia.

Other 35 parts manufacturers and dealers are using the customer contact through Teccom as it is at present the most successful e-commerce solution in the aftermarket worldwide.

Spark plugs

Bosch is also offering the Bosch Super Special Spark Plugs which integrate more than 100 years of spark plug know-how.

Bosch said it has an excellent starting response and fail-safe ignition due to its chromium-nickel ground electrode.

It added that it is an effective protection against corrosion and thread jamming with its nickel coating. Also, it has a permanent, tight connection and good electrical conductivity of fused center electrode and terminal stud.
