Cebuanos to compete in national wheelchair basketball

CEBU’s differently-abled athletes gear up for the 8th National Philippine Wheelchair Basketball League (PWBL) in Pasig City on Sept. 26-28.

On the other hand, the Fast Tract-It Program will gather Central Visayas’ Local Government Units
(LGU), private schools and NGOs as it holds a two-day seminar for the development of the differently-abled jocks starting tomorrow.

The Cebu delegation to the PWBL will be made up of four cagers from Haci, another four from the Talisay City-based Adpatic and two officials.

The PWBL, which will be held at the RFM Gym, Brent Gym and Philsports Complex, and will be the basis for the selection of the Philipine Team to the 1st Asean Wheelchair Basketball Championship on Oct. 9-16 in Singapore.
