Dare to be different By Frances Grace Martinez (STC Masscom Intern)
I love buying clothes and accessories but sometimes I feel that all boutiques are the same especially when all the items sold are of the same style and fashion. I want to be my own person. To be different and unique so that people will know me through what I wear and how I look. I want to stand out. Well, who doesn’t? Thing is, how can I have my own style when everywhere I turn I see people wearing common styles? Sometimes, even the exact styles and colors are being worn by different individuals! Such a nightmare, huh?
But I discovered this new boutique in town that has created its own niche with its unique and stylish clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories. What’s more, one would definitely not be worried about wearing its items for reasons that another person may have the exact same style. This is definitely a dream come true for me.
Goodbye nightmares…
Hello Icon!
If you’re into fashion like me, you’ll really love hanging around this place. Why do I say “hanging around”? Because once you step inside, it’s like entering a different world with its bar-like interior and music (not to mention a couch where shoppers can relax!). And aside from its hip and trendy clothes, shoes, bags and body accessories limited to only one item per style (so if you wanna be the first in style, better hurry!), it also has cool and outrageous house accessories that will definitely blow your mind like it did mine!
