Christian workers’ hoops on today in Guadalupe

TWO EXCITING games usher in the inaugural season of the Christian Workers Basketball Association (CWBA) as the league opens today at the Visayan Glass Gym in Brgy. Guadalupe.

Games will kick off after the simple opening ceremony at 9 a.m.

All four participating teams are advised to be at the venue early as a draw by lots will be done for pairings. Competing teams are the Jerome Lirazan-led Luke-Red, Matthew-Black, Mark-Blue and John-Green.

Also in the Luke-Red squad are Phil Tucker, Riel Cimafranca, Billy Navarette, David Batiancila, William Acuzar, Tongtong Ablen, Rommel Cagas and team manager Sulven Olojan.

Composing the Matthew-Black are John Espino, Rolly Casani, Wilbert Yasi, Boboy Danong, Polly Colonia, Charlie Catacutan, Philip Tormis, Marcelo Escartin and team manager Tyrone Tan.

Allan Prochina and Michael Lesigon lead the Mark-Blue, which also includes Michael Lacuna, Raul Oraca, Henry Cari, Jessie Cresencio, Oliver Oro, Jessie Leopoldo, Nick Basco, Oliver Arcenal and team manager Sam Legaspi.

While John-Green will be bannered by Mark Harris, Evic Pepito, Ariston Tejano, Levy Colminas, Sesenio Almene, Ramil Ceniza, Jessie Gawangon, Bernie Oro and team manager Joey Eguia. ESL
