Davide at ANS class ’54 reunion
Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. will be the guest speaker in the golden anniversary celebration of Abellana National School (ANS) class ’54.
Davide, who belongs to ANS class ’53, will be with his fellow alumni for the first time since his triumph in the aborted impeachment case filed against him by some congressmen.
Activities are: Jan. 9 – dinner dance scheduled at 7 p.m. at City Sports Club Cebu (CSCC); Jan. 10 – holy mass at the ANS premises at 5 p.m., dinner and get-together at the Payag Residence of Atty. Adelino B. Sitoy in Gabi, Cordova, 7 p.m.;
Jan. 11 – swimming with snacks at Plantation Bay Hotel at 9 a.m., lunch at Boy Medel’s Beach Resort in Marigondon at 12 p.m., and program and election of board members of the ANS Class ’54 Foundation in Boy Medel’s Beach Resort at 2 p.m.
Successful children of class ’54 members will speak before their parents. Surviving teachers will be awarded with cash gifts and certificates of appreciation.
University of Cebu College of Law dean Adelino B. Sitoy, class ’54 president, has spearheaded the batch’s yearly reunions for the last 20 years.
