A 'Romantic Getaway' at Shangri-La
Shangri-La’s Mactan Island Resort is offering a Romantic Getaway on this month of lovers.

On Valentine’s Day, various promotions are on sked at the resort’s restaurants.
Paparazzi rolls out a semi-buffet of Italian dishes that includes marinated king prawns, pan fried tenderloin of beef with melted herb butter and porto wine sauce and herb-crusted lapu-lapu fillets. For a more Asian flavor, set menus of dishes like black peppered mango prawns and grilled chicken breast in teriyaki sauce await at Asiatica. International dishes including special carving and sweets will be offered at the Garden Patio. At Cowrie Cove, couples can dine under the stars while sampling a seafood buffet with specialties like lobsters, prawns, and oysters.
An exclusive candlelit dinner may also be arranged on a private island or beach cabana with one’s own butler and special set menu made especially for the occasion.
Spots are limited and bookings must be done in advance. Special Rustans’ Essences gift items await ladies.
