Speak out: Those beggars again
By Jesson J. Morata

There’s got to be somebody behind this. After the Cebu City government intensified the drive against beggars and mendicants in the streets, here they go again. This time they are in Lapu-Lapu City.

The intersection near the old Mactan-Mandaue Bridge is where these mendicants are found. And I noticed that their faces are familiar. They are the same people who used to beg in the corner of P.del Rosario St. and Osmeña Blvd.

I am not really sure if Lapu-Lapu City has an ordinance on this. But it should do something.
