Metro Sports slates soft opening in April
Metro Sports Club will soon open with a whole package of facilities that can make a complete badminton experience.
Pre and post-game stretching, gym workout for muscle toning and soothing spa are placed at one’s fingertips for a total enjoyment of today’s most popular sport, badminton.
It has Taraflex-covered courts which follow Olympic specifications to give the player added confidence and help him improve his agility and focus on the game.
Aside from muscle toning workouts before the game, the player can always approach the kiosk for re-energizing refreshments in between games and indulge in a pampering Jacuzzi and treatments at the full-range day spa after the game. There is also the fine dining room that offers low calorie meals.
In anticipation of the player’s return visits, Metro Sports Club also provides rentable lockers and a laundry drop station. Sports paraphernalia and consumables can be had at the pro-shop cum minimart.
Metro Sports also offers different exercise camps like Pilates, aerobics, ballroom dancing, tai chi, martial arts and fencing. The management is entertaining proposals from exercise camp providers.
A Club Ultima member automatically becomes a member of Metro Sports for life. He and his family will enjoy preferential treatment upon presentation of the membership ID card and may pay a court fee only half of what a non-member would pay. He will also get a rebate on his club spending which would be credited to future court charges.
For those who are not members of Club Ultima, a renewable annual membership is available for P3,300 per year. This would allow the annual member 30 per cent discount on court fee.
The target soft opening of Metro Sports is in April. Club Ultima members can enjoy free games on the first three days of the soft opening. If their cards are not yet activated, they may register for activation at Metro Sports starting on the opening date. Those who have not signed up for their cards may also do so at Metro Sports.
