500 bikers to vie in Cebu City Bike Fextival next month
NEARLY 500 bikers from 13 cycling teams are expected to see action in the 1st Cebu City Bike Festival scheduled on April 3-4 in Brgy. Busay.
Among the early registrants are the Road and Mountainbike Organization (Rambo) of Danao City, Corba team, Tribe, All-Terrain Bikers Association, Cebu Extreme Bikers Union and the Cebu Business Riders Organization led by Lucilo “Jojo” Sagayno.
Also vying in the two-day grind are Yawkoy and Tresan Gold Cycling Club of Minglanilla, Alive Mountain Trekkers and Adventurers, Danao Bikers Club, host team Tisa United Mountainbike Association led by Ireneo Baylon and the Sukarap of Jack Panuncia.
The city government through the Cebu City Sports Commission (CCSC) has allocated P100,000 for the prizes in the event.
