Don Bosco teams halve matches

HOST teams from Don Bosco dropped two of their four football matches in the Don Bosco Summer Paliga at the Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) last Tuesday.

The host teams opened the night on a positive note with Don Bosco Alumni-A (DBA-A) turning back Danao FC, 7-5, in the first futsal match.

However, in the next match, the DBA Legends ran into the tough H & J Enterprises to lose, 10-5, to open their Summer Paliga campaign on a sour note.

In a battle of Don Bosco squads, DBTC turned back the DBA-B, 8-5.

The University of San Carlos ladies, on the other hand, made up for their
opening-day loss to La Niña by scoring a 7-0 trouncing of a young Cebu City National Science High School team.

The last match of the night saw host DBTC losing to La Niña, 1-0.

Games in all divisions of the tournament are played Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at the DBTC field starting at 6:30 p.m. ML
