Speak out: FPJ should concede By P. Pepito Jr. Greenwich, Connecticut
I am sick and tired reading and listening about the claim of Fernando Poe Jr. that he won in the May 10 elections.
But if you ask me, I think people has finally realized that allowing somebody lacking in education to run a country like the Philippines is not a good idea.
What does FPJ think of himself anyway?
Just because he is a famous actor he already thought he could be president. And the people around him are a bunch of power-hungry politicians and actors pursuing only their own selfish interests.
If FPJ does not believe in surveys, then he shouldn't have been in politics. People doing the surveys are not idiots and shallow minded; they know what they are doing.
If FPJ claims he was cheated, can he show proof ? All accusations he leveled against Gloria Macapagal Arroyo have not been substantiated.
For the best interest of the Filipino people, they should stop this madness. FPJ should concede and not incite people to rise up against the government.
Meanwhile, lawmakers should find ways to amend some provisions of our constitution, like requiring those who run for president to be at least a graduate in college.
