Speak out: Gay and lesbians
By Joseph Aliviado

I am just bothered by the growing number of persons involved in lesbian and gay relationships. It has become rampant partly because of media reports that seem to project these relationships as normal in other countries.

Still, it is not correct and is morally degrading.

Not correct because a normal person always wants to have a relationship with someone from the opposite sex. Often, those who go into lesbian and gay relationships are not using their reason very well. They need help to bring them back to their rightful senses.

Morally degrading because, as a consequence of not following the dictates of reason, we would end up becoming a society that does not have regard for the laws of nature and of the divine.

And I don’t think these persons are being harassed as they claim. Why don’t they try to dress, talk and act normally? I know of gays and lesbians, who acknowledge that they are such but never flaunt this. And they are respected.
