Mayor Felix “Lingging” Garcia, 47, is the second public official attacked in Bohol during the election period, following the foiled ambush last Feb. 13 on Bohol Gov. Erico Au-mentado. Garcia was airlifted to Cebu, but died at 7:05 last night in the Mactan Doctors’ Hospital, less than four hours after he was shot. [full story]
