Cheap international calls
DB Edwards, the global leader in Internet calling that delivers high-quality, low-cost phone-to-phone, PC-to-phone calling to businesses and consumers in 170 countries, is now in the Philippines.
With China Broadband as service provider, one can make international calls to any landline or mobile phone for $.029 a minute.
DBE offers three Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone units.
The MMPO1, used like a regular phone, is suitable for homes and small offices. The MMP02, used like a mobile phone, is meant for the business traveler. Both phones need to be connected to a laptop or computer using the USB interface.
The third phone unit is the Lan Phone RJ45, a desktop VoIP phone terminal that does not need to be connected to a computer. All programming functions are built-in, and it is suitable for corporate offices and call centers.
An initial calling load of $10 is included in the package.
DBE will join the Total Office Products and Services exhibit from July 1 to 3 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel Grand Ballroom.
It will launch Plan 12 and Plan 18, phone plans ranging from P900-P2,000 as monthly rates, depending on the unit.
It will also offer free calls to the general public for 3-5 minutes to any place abroad as part of its product introduction. LTG
