Special kids to witness aerobatics show at SRP
SPECIAL children from a missionary school in Punta Princessa will be treated to the Aerobatics Show of the upcoming Battle Ground 2004-Drag Race, Big Bike and Sound Off Competition on Aug. 6 at the South Reclamation Project.
The children were invited through the efforts of the organizing Legwork Productions and Promotions with the support of Cebu City Councilor Jack Jakosalem.
Daredevil pilot
British daredevil pilot, Capt. Roy Bruce, now based in Mactan, promised a huge gravity-defying treat for the kids and for the viewing public.
Bruce will be using his specialized airplane, the Extra-300L, a powerful world-class plane capable of speeds of up to 400 kilometers per hour – the only one of its kind in the country.
“The children will surely enjoy the event especially the aerobatic show, which is guaranteed to be fun and breathtaking,” said Jakosalem.
Meanwhile, a series of exhibits will hit July along with promos, where free tickets will be given for the three-day.
In the next three weekends of the month, Battle Ground 2004 rolls to the malls to stage exhibits. The best big bikes in town will be displayed at Robinson’s Place Cebu while the Sound Off vehicles will hit the Ayala Center parking, and the drag cars exhibit will rev at SM City Cebu. CBR
