State of Cebuano language up at UP discussion

U.P. CEBU College is developing a program to promote Cebuano language and culture. This is in response to the challenge of UP President Nemenzo on what to do to promote, dignify, and intellectualize the Cebuano language, and revive our cultural heritage.

To initiate its program of activities for the students and the community that will promote the use and enrichment of Cebuano, UP Cebu College through its Central Visayas Studies Center will hold a roundtable on the state of Cebuano language and culture on July 21, Wednesday, from 1:30 p.m. to5 p.m. at the AVR of the newly launched Interactive Learning Center (second floor of the UP Main building) in Lahug.

Participation in the roundtable is by invitation. For inquiries, call 233-2034. (PR)
